What is Phc ?
The Panhellenic Council or PHC represents the five chapters of the National Panhellenic Conference that are chartered at Drexel University.
The Panhellenic Council is the coordinating body for activities that promote the common interests of all the sororities on Drexel's campus. Panhellenic offers a wide variety of programs for members ranging from networking opportunities, leadership development, sorority sports, educational programs and community service activities. The Panhellenic Council also sponsors and coordinates Drexel's Sorority Recruitment program.
Panhellenic is the unifying, governing, and coordinating body of the sorority community. As the communication link between the sororities, campus organizations, and community leaders, Panhellenic serves a multitude of purposes.
The council strives to uphold the educational, philanthropic, and social ideals of each member organization by promoting and supporting their endeavors as well as creating their own events in order to enhance the collegiate experience.
The Panhellenic Council meets weekly on Sundays at 9:30 pm in Ross Commons, Room 301. Meetings are open to all chapter members.
Panhellenic Creed:
We, as Undergraduate Members of women's fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities.
We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.
